this collection expresses the coexistence of the innocent joy of gratitude and the grit of adolescence, challenging the dichotomies of identity we are often compelled to impose upon ourselves and others. through raw and vibrantly surreal film photography, ‘coexistence’ reflects the complexities innate to humanity, disrupting the notion that we must erase and minimise our multifaceted nature in favour of having a palatable identity.
